Austin Area Alliance of Black School Educators
(AustinAABSE)was established in Austin, Texas in 1996. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the educational accomplishments of Austin Area children, particularly African American children.

Our local affiliate serves to provide social and instructional support for African American students, staff, and families, promote and expand career opportunities for our membership and assist in serving the African American community through advocacy, knowledge, and networking. We are the local affiliate of the Texas Alliance of Black School Educators (TABSE) and the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) We have hosted four State Conferences and are committed to uniting our families for success. We are an” urban” district and an Institutional member of TABSE. We seek dedicated members who have African American Children, Employees, Parents, and our community as the PRIORITY!
